The problem this solves
Meetings often end without clear execution.
Ownership gets vague. Decisions get softened by hedge language. Dependencies go unconfirmed. Risks hide in phrases like “we’ll figure it out later” or “I was told it’s approved.” The follow-up email makes the meeting look cleaner than it was — and execution suffers for it.
This tool reads the raw transcript and produces a structured brief that reflects what the meeting actually produced, including what it failed to settle.
Output
What every execution brief includes
| Section | What It Contains |
|---|---|
| 1. Transcript Quality Check | Reliability assessment before the analysis begins. Flags missing speaker labels, summaries passed off as transcripts, or content too thin to analyze. |
| 2. Executive Brief | 5–8 bullets covering confirmed decisions, next steps, unresolved issues, and risks worth flagging. |
| 3. Action Items | Owner, deadline, evidence, confidence level, and what needs confirmation. Unassigned items are labeled Unassigned — not guessed at. |
| 4. Decisions Confirmed / Decisions Needed | Confirmed decisions separated from items discussed but not resolved. Hedge language is not treated as a decision. |
| 5. Risks | Evidence, impact, severity (High/Medium/Low), confidence, and recommended next step. No theoretical risks — only items with transcript evidence. |
| 6. Dependencies | What is needed from whom, what it blocks, and whether it is confirmed or unconfirmed. External verbal commitments are flagged as unconfirmed. |
| 7. Change/Readiness Concerns | Stakeholders not represented, unclear handoffs, groups affected but not informed. |
| 8. Open Questions | Questions tied to actual gaps — ownership, timeline, decisions, dependencies, readiness. |
| 9. Follow-Up Message Draft | A ready-to-send follow-up separating confirmed actions from items still needing confirmation. |
Before / After
What the tool catches in a short meeting transcript
Messy transcript
Sarah: Did they give us a specific date?
John: Not yet.
Sarah: We need that before we can schedule the install team.
John: I’ll follow up this week.
Sarah: Permits — where are we?
John: I was told they’re approved but I haven’t seen paperwork.
Sarah: That needs to be confirmed before we break ground.
John: Agreed.
Sarah: Okay so John’s following up on both. Reconnect Thursday.
Execution brief identifies
⚠ Risk — High
Permit approval secondhand and undocumented. Breaking ground on this basis carries compliance exposure.
Dependency — Unconfirmed
Delivery date needed from vendor. Blocks install scheduling. No date. No contract reference.
Decision Needed
Thursday reconnect: Sarah proposed it. John did not explicitly confirm. No agenda defined.
How it works
Four steps from transcript to brief
01
Import the workflow
Import the n8n workflow JSON into your n8n instance. Add your Anthropic API key. Setup takes under 15 minutes.
02
Submit a transcript
Paste your meeting transcript into the form. Add a project name and delivery email. Works with Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet transcripts.
03
The workflow runs
Claude analyzes the transcript against a structured prompt that flags vague language, missing ownership, unconfirmed dependencies, and hidden risks.
04
Brief arrives by email
The structured execution brief is delivered to the email address entered in the form. Typically under 60 seconds.

Limitations
What it does not do
- Output quality depends on transcript quality. A three-line summary will produce a limited brief.
- It does not replace project manager judgment. Confirm ownership, deadlines, and commitments with meeting participants.
- It does not record meetings, integrate with calendar systems, or store transcripts.
- This is a workflow product, not a hosted app. You install and run it yourself.
FAQ
Common questions
Is this a hosted app?
No. This is a downloadable n8n workflow. You import it into your own n8n instance and run it yourself. Your transcripts are processed through your own n8n instance and your own API credentials. The workflow does not store transcripts unless you configure it to.
Do I need n8n?
Yes. n8n is the automation platform this workflow runs on. It can be self-hosted for free or run on n8n Cloud. The setup guide covers installation.
Do I need an Anthropic API key?
Yes. The workflow calls Claude via the Anthropic API. You set up your own API key and pay Anthropic directly for usage — cost depends on transcript length and model selection but is typically low for normal project meeting transcripts.
Can it work with Teams or Zoom transcripts?
Yes. Copy the transcript text from Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, or any other tool and paste it into the form. Speaker labels improve output quality but are not required.
What happens if the transcript is vague?
The tool flags it. The transcript quality check at the top of every brief rates the input and identifies reliability gaps. If ownership is unclear, it says so — it does not invent owners.
Can I customize the prompt?
Yes. The full system prompt is included in the download. You can modify it to add industry-specific instructions, adjust output sections, or change the tone.
Is this a subscription?
No. One-time purchase. You own the workflow file.
What is the difference between Standard and Pro?
Pro adds an independent OpenAI cross-check on Risks, Decisions Needed, and Dependencies. It flags items one model caught that the other missed, and notes where the two models materially disagree. Standard uses Claude only.
Will there be a hosted upload version?
Yes, that is planned. You can join the waitlist on the contact page to be notified when it launches.
